First roll of film

«Digital photography is a science and film photography is a chemical miraclе.»  

This was my first experience shooting film — Ilford HP5+. I wanted to see how photography would feel without the speed and control I was used to with a digital camera.

HP5+ has a particular way of handling shadows, grain and soft transitions of light. Instead of perfect clarity, it introduces texture and a degree of unpredictability — which is exactly what I found interesting.

Thirty-six frames became more than a collection of separate photographs. They became a small piece of time that could not be repeated.
